For Kofta :
Boil and mash the potatoes.
Wet the bread slice with some water and mix it with the mashed potatoes.
Add salt, garam masala and lemon juice.
Mix well and shape them in oval or round shape.
Deep fry them in the oil, drain on a paper towel and set aside.
For Gravy:
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chopped onion, green chillies, garlic and ginger and fry until lightly browned.
Add the tomato pieces . Allow to cook for a while.
Add salt, Red Chili powder and Garam masala. Stir well.
Add half cup water and boil the gravy for a while.
Add the Kofta to the gravy just before serving.
Serve hot garnished with grated cheese and coriander leaves .
Tastes good with parathas, naans or Jeera Rice.
